About Sedonya

There's a hum beneath the stillness here.

Not loud — but steady. Like something inside you knew this place before your feet ever touched the land. Welcome.

Sedonya is a sanctuary built to hold you — not with instruction, but with invitation. You are welcome to explore, to slow down, to return to your own rhythm.

Sacred Spaces Open to You

Where You May Wander

The Meditation Temple

Always open. A quiet, sacred space for you to sit, reflect, pray, or simply be. Remove your shoes, step inside, and listen.

The Bee Temple Garden

Alive with color and pollinator song. A place to walk or sit when you want to feel held by the land.

Weeping Willow Crystal Ball

A shaded garden sanctuary where water flows, the willow breathes, and time softens.

The Medicine Lodge

A ceremonial space held by Uqualla, of the Havasupai Nation. A living lodge — entered only through invitation and with reverence. If you feel called, you may request a private session with Uqualla during your stay.

The Wellness Center

Care of the body is sacred here. You are welcome to book a private session at any time — for restoration, balance, or gentle nourishment.

“Each offering at Sedonya is crafted with care — not to add more, but to help you return. Back to your own stillness. Back to your sacred center. Back to what has always been whole within you.”

— Sonya

Welcome to Sedona

You've come to Sedona for something.

Maybe it has a name. Maybe it doesn't. But something in you said yes.

This isn't just a retreat. It's an arrival — into a landscape that holds silence as ceremony, stillness as guidance, and beauty as a kind of truth.

Sedona doesn't offer answers. It reflects. It meets you where you are, and reveals what's ready — not with force, but with presence. This land has been a place of ritual, reverence, and renewal for generations.

It doesn't belong to any one lineage, yet it holds many.

It doesn't perform. It waits. And when you listen, it responds.

However your time here unfolds — whether with movement or stillness, voice or silence — let it unfold gently. Walk slowly. Feel the space between things. Trust what stirs.

You're not just attending. You're remembering. And you're not doing it alone.

Welcome to Sedona. Let what's sacred find you.

A Place for Ceremony

In Sedona, ceremony isn't an afterthought — it's the point.

Ceremonies act as a container for intention and emotion. They hold space for transition and transformation — whether seasonal, life stage, or spiritual path. In the Sacred Now, each action feels like a prayer. The land itself becomes a participant.

Journey into the Heart of the Land

Hiking & Activities

Sedona is more than beautiful — it is alive. Each trail and rock formation holds its own energy signature, and many have become known as “vortex sites,” places where the Earth's subtle energies are especially strong. From Sedonya, several of these sacred locations are just a short drive or walk away.

Earth's Spiraling Energy

Vortexes

Sedona's vortex sites aren't places you simply “visit” — they are places that move through you.

At locations like Bell Rock, Cathedral Rock, Boynton Canyon, and Airport Mesa, Earth's energy is believed to spiral in concentrated fields — either upward (for activation, inspiration) or downward (for grounding, release).

  • Heightened intuition
  • Spontaneous emotional release
  • Physical sensations — pressure, tingling, or ringing in the ears
  • The sense that something ancient is remembering you

“The land isn't giving you energy. It's showing your own.”

When the Sky Becomes Ceremony

Stargazing

Sedona is not only sacred ground — it is sacred sky. After the sun dips behind the red rocks, the desert opens into one of the most breathtaking celestial views in North America. With minimal light pollution, wide open vistas, and a silence that hums, Sedona becomes a place to lay back, look up, and remember.

Whether you're tracking constellations, catching the tail of a meteor, or simply resting under the stillness of stars, these spots invite a nighttime pilgrimage into the mystery.

Sedona & the Stars

Star Beings, Sightings & the Unknown

Sedona is one of the UFO capitals of the world. For decades, people have reported mysterious lights, non-human craft, and visions of higher intelligences in the night sky — especially near Bell Rock, Cathedral Rock, and the open desert west of town.

Local lore speaks of

  • Vortex portals acting as gateways between dimensions
  • Blue orbs and geometric lights appearing without explanation
  • Feelings of telepathic contact, heightened awareness, or time distortion under the stars

You don't need to believe in aliens to feel something otherworldly here. Just lay under the stars, breathe, and allow the moment to unfold. Many report a subtle sense of being watched — not with fear, but wonder.

Etiquette

Offered With Intention

Everything at Sedonya is offered with intention — not to add more, but to help you return. In that spirit, we ask that you honor the following with presence and respect.

Open-Hearted Presence

Arrive with kindness, curiosity, and reverence — for yourself, for others, and for the land.

Shoes Off, Spirit On

Please remove shoes when entering indoor spaces. Clean socks or soft slippers are welcome.

Quiet in Sacred Spaces

The Meditation Temple and ceremonial spaces are held in silence. Please respect the stillness.

Hydration & Nourishment

Only water is permitted in the main rooms (Sicatuva, Cathedral, Guan Yin). Sedonya is a plant-based property. Please reuse your eco-cup or bring your own water bottle.

A Living Space of Consciousness

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit devoted to awakening, Sedonya is a shared sacred ground. We thank you for walking it with presence.

While You're Here

Intention Walk

Most mornings, join Uqualla at the Fire Arena for an Intention Walk. Donation basis.

Warm desert canyon glowing at golden hour

The land here doesn't ask you to perform, arrive, or prove. It simply invites you to listen.

You don't need to become anything here. You are already something sacred.

If you choose to step forward — into ceremony, into silence, into remembrance — know this: you won't be doing it alone. The red rock will hold you. The wind will witness you.

And this space, tended with love, will welcome you. We're not here to teach you. We're here to hold a mirror — gently, reverently — so you can remember what's been true all along.

Welcome home.
